Located on the South end of the Gold Coast directly opposite the Coolangatta Airport runway, this was one of the first skateparks built on the Gold Coast.
A huge upgrade was completed in 2015 with a modern street area built including rails, banks, quarters, manual pads and a sick 8ft pool bowl that has old school pool tiles the whole way around with pool coping and a steps in the shallow end.
The old skate park was left in place with the original transitions and roll ins for some added fun.
Tugun offers great photo opportunities as the Jets fly directly over the park landing behind the bowl.
